When Chris arrived at the park, he was in for a shock. There was already someone playing the guitar where he always plays! Chris was annoyed. “Hey! That’s my place!” he told the man. “Why don’t we play together? I don’t need money, so you can have it all,”, the man said. “What a strange man,” Chris thought. “Why do you play guitar?” the man asked. “I want to leave here and become famous,” Chris said. The strange man laughed. “Do you enjoy playing the guitar?” he asked. Chris shrugged. The man laughed again. “That’s not good.”

公園に着いたらクリスは驚く光景を目にした。

「じゃあ二人で引かないか?お金はいらないから」と男は言い、クリスは不思議な人だなぁと思った。
「君はなんでギターを弾いているんだ?」と男は聞いた。
「この町を出て、人気者になりたいんだ。」とクリスは言った。
男は笑い、「ギターは好きか?」と聞いたらクリスはただ無言で肩をすくめた。
再び男は笑い「そりゃ困るなぁ」と言った。
